My book/study case is a custom design and make by my uncle who designs and builds custom home furnishings from kitchens to bedroom sets to medical offices.  After I had finished college and grew out of my old desk which he had also built, I was interested in a book/study case that would hold everything, sort of all in one.  I had looked through a series of catalogs and many furniture stores but nothing really caught my eye.  I put together several designs and presented him with the concept and he presented me this beautiful book/study/computer/printer/storage case.  I love all parts of it and most of all its sleek and clean look and most of all its functionality.

When we moved into our new home, I turned one of the bedrooms into a study room with a couch and some odds and ends.  This is where I spend most of my time outside of the kitchen.  I catch up on my Turkish soap opera’s over the net, along with blogging, e-mailing and what ever that crosses my mind.  This is one my favorite rooms in my home.
