I’ve always had this passion and unimaginable interest in food that began at a very young age. Being in the kitchen always make me feel productive and this blog represents my kind of making, baking & sharing. If I were to define my cooking, I can honestly say, I am a variety of mixed cultures and foods. This comes as no surprise since I grew up in New York City with great exposure to large diverse ethnic foods and cultures. A family business that specialized in Middle Eastern & Mediterranean foods made cooking and large variety of international ingredients easily accessible.
I was born in Turkey and currently reside in Staten Island, New York with my husband and daughter. A side from cooking, I hold a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Pace University & Masters of Science in Accounting from Long Island University and work as a Financial Analyst in the legal industry.
