Hello:
This question is for the Turkish community and I hope that someone here can possibly help me….
I am looking for a Turkish calendar that includes a list of holidays both religious (with dates & times) and secular….but I have not been able to locate anything online…
Does anyone know where I can purchase such a calendar? (It will be a gift for my parents.)
)
Many thanks,
Billie
Sweet Sugar Cookies ~ Sekerpare on 17 May 2008 at 1:17 am #
[...] In my case, I justed wanted something delightful. The kind that I made is not from scratch, I just don’t have the time for that now, maybe later when I am married and in my own kitchen. Sekepare comes prepackaged and ready to use, all you have to do is prepare the syrup and pour it on top of the cookies. The cookies can be found at A&D Food Market. [...]

I loved your blog. Turkish food is one of my favorites and the kofte looked wonderful! We do not have a lot of turkish restaurants in SF and I miss the cusine. When I lived near DC, I have more access to Turkish foods, but not a turkish grocery store. The closest was a Greek grocery called Aphrodite in Falls Church. Thanks for bringing back the wonderful memories. Reply >

Your most welcome, I’m so happy you liked what you saw. I’ve been reading a few of your psoting really interesting and really like your style of writing. I’ve never been to SF but I heard their are some Turkish/Armenian stores in CA that carry a lot of Turkish foods. Might be worth checking out!

Joanna – the most old natural soap we carry is olive oil soaps and natural soaps. Search for these names @ tulumba.com – (haci sakir and sabun. )They have a large variety, one might be sutiable for what you are looking for.
