A SATURDAY IFTAR DINNER
This year’s Ramadan has been particularly different from the past years of Ramadan I’ve experienced in New York! It’s been a very quite and rather hard Ramadan for me!! You see, this year some every important people in my life packed their bags and flew of to Turkey. Hence, leaving me to fend for myself! Listen I’m not complaining, well yes I am! I miss having my whole family here in New York for Ramadan, I kind of and (really) feel lonely without them. Since several other key family members are also leaving in the coming week, I hopped on the first chance to have them over for iftar. It turned out to be just the aunts and daughters iftar and I could not have asked for anything more.
