Tea Biscuit Pudding & TJ Maxx
Tea Biscuit Pudding Layers
Let me count the ways I love TJ Maxx & Home Goods! They always have the best bargains and awesome European kitchen things. This weekend I just stopped by to see if I could find anything useful. I don’t go often because I know I won’t be able to stop myself from buying, plus its only 2 blocks away from my house. I can say this though the last time I was at TJ Maxx was back in November a couple weeks before Thanksgiving.
I love to kitchen shop. (Period) I love to kitchen shop in Turkey, here in the states I find great things because I search for them. In Turkey, I can find a larger variety of kitchen supplies at flee markets and the Saturday bazaars in Yalova and of course in Istanbul.
Now, how do I hide these from my husband and my mom?
This is what I got and this is what I paid:
Le Creusent Enameled Cast Iron Pot 5 qt -
bought it at $129.99 – selling at department stores for $229.00
Mini storage bowls - 8 pieces bought it for my cousin - I have one & comes in very handy
bought it for $7.99 – selling at other home stores for $10.99 and up
Ice cream sundae long spoons – made in germany – very nice stainless steel
bought it for $7.99 for a set of 6
Wooden lemon juicer – $3.99
Metal Scoops - small $4.99 larger $9.99

I’m a fan myself, its a bad addiction once you get started. You must check back periodically in case you miss anything.

I can’t stop too!! That is a good deal for the Le Creuset! How come it is so much cheaper in TJ??
I have been looking for decently-priced long ice-cream spoons too. But. no. They are not anywhere.
And the storage bowls look real handy! Good buys!!

you are so right about TJ Maxx! I recently found 3 pieces of Le Crueset for the same amount! I loove that place. The gourmet pickings are the best. Glad to have found ur site. Very refreshing.

I’m a HUGE TJ MAXX kitchen fan also ! I just bought “La Rochere” glassware last week ! Every single piece they had…about 30 because they were only 3.99 a piece !! The dept. stores want 70.00 for a set of six ! La Rochere is the oldest french glass company…since the 1800′s.
I know this sounds weird, but I never noticed that clear glass could look so differently…
I poured water in my glass, threw some lemon slices in, and the Lemon looked AMAZING….
It’s soooooo clear and gorgeous. But I’m 42years old, and I’ve never seen a glass look so gorgeous filled with something. (Strange, I know!)
** I love Le Crueset also, but the last time I was in TJ, I flipped it over, and it had a ‘Made in China’ sticker on it ! Is this true ????
I thought they made their things in Germany.
I love the Yorkshire tea also.
Lastly, the got in Neiman Marcus dinnerware.
If you look up the Rooster pattern, Neiman wants 110.00 for four dinner plates.
At tj, they are 3.99 each !!
Happy TJ Max shopping !!
