Sunday Dinner

table for 2 Sunday Dinner

Learning to cook for two took sometime to get used, I still have a difficult time adjusting recipes when I cook for my husband and I.  I often have leftovers and I really don’t mind especially since I don’t have much time to cook during the week.  A couple of Sunday’s ago, I prepared a quick, healthy and tasty chicken and couscous dish.  I will post the recipes this Thanksgiving weekend, I wanted to post this up before I forget.

This year I will be hosting Thanksgiving along with my cousin Duriye, she is cooking half and I the other half. I will have those pictures and recipes along past recipes I had promised and never got the chance to post.

Hey there….I too had a lot of trouble adjusting to cooking for just hubby and me. The quantities to be made are so small that there are always leftovers. We also end up purchasing more veggies, grains etc that we require and it is really sad when they start rotting away. We are trying to discipline ourselves by underestimating our needs instead….he he he. And both of us have full time jobs so we have loads of packaged stuff also….You can imagine my storage unit ;-)

Sam – tell me about it, my pantry has half used of everything. I also trying to cut down and see actually what we need but it is hard as you say.
