Hot Cocoa & Anthropologie

hot cocoa Hot Cocoa & Anthropologie

Have I mentioned how cold & freezing New York and Tri-State area has become in the last few days.  It is suppose to last through out the weekend. Uh, I hate this weather like this; I feel the cold in my bones.

On the train ride home, all I thought about was a HOT cup of hot chocolate and if my order from Anthropologie had arrived?  To my surprise two boxes were sitting on my porch; I picked up the boxes and rushed inside to open them.

Hot Cocoa

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of milk (I used skim milk)
  • 2 teaspoons of unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar (more sugar if you like it sweet)
  • pinch of cinnamon

Preparation

  1. In a medium sauce pan or Turkish coffee pot, pour in the milk, cocoa and sugar and mix well.
  2. Bring to a boil and pour into one of your favorite coffee cups, sprinkle the cinnamon over the top & serve!

Along with the hot cocoa I endulged into one of my favorite chocolates Ghirardelli. Peanut butter and caramel are the best!

Here is what was inside:

Aren’t they adorable? My draws and cabinets are all full of small gadgets, but I can’t help it.  This is something that I have to learn to let go of, but I look at as an investment into the future.
